Sorry for the long silence, but the Gibsons are back in full force. Our life is evolving here in Utah and we are all getting settled in our various activities.
Dave - Busy working at an independent auto repair facility as a Service Advisor. It is very similar to what he did in Colorado as the owner of the Big O Stores.
Sharon - Working as the secretary in the IT department of a large insurance provider.
Sarah - Driving now, and has a job as a trainers assistant at a local horse barn. In her Junior year of high school.
Brian - Middle schooler, just as happy as ever, looking forward to basketball season.
As a family, our big news is that we finally bought a new house! We will be moving in early October. It is not finished, and we have been working on it for about 8 weeks doing everything from painting, trim work, flooring, countertops, and finish plumbing and electrical. I'll create a scrapbook on here so you can all keep up with our progress. Brian is attending that neighborhood's school so that he can begin to form friendships with his new neighbors. Sarah chose to stay at her current high school and finish out her last two years there. She has a little bit of a drive but, of course, with her new drivers license, she doesn't mind a bit! It's about 15 minutes longer of a comute for Sharon, and just about the same as his old drive for Dave.
Well, I'll be keeping this up again, so you will know what we are all up to. In the meantime, our msn email did not change (we don't have the mesa networks one anymore), and Sharon & the kids are on facebook, so you can join them there.
